Subdivision of a rural property
The subdivision of a rural property is processed through the SAG (Agricultural and Livestock Service) and consists of dividing a property into several lots, all outside the urban area,
leaving them with a minimum area of 5,000m2 (half a hectare).
It is carried out when it is necessary to sell a piece of land, transfer ownership of the property or simply divide a property in the event of an inheritance or succession.

Re-establishment of the property boundary and verification of surface area
If you wish to acquire a property, it is important to review the boundaries, location of the property and measurement of its surface area, in order to verify that the property is in accordance with what is indicated in the plan and documentation.

Rectification of area and land merger
The rectification of area is carried out when the property on the ground has a different surface area than that indicated in the documentation and it has been verified that this does not affect the adjacent properties.
The purpose of a land merger is to unite lots or properties and this can only be carried out when they are adjacent and belong to the same owner.
